10 of My Favourite Things

 Here is a list of 10 of my favourite things. The order in which they are listed does not necessarily represent their importance.

1. Family

Family has always been important for me so of course it would make this list. Every night we would have dinner together throughout my childhood and my parents would always find time to do stuff with me and my sister. We also spent a lot of time with my extended family despite them living  all around the country.

2. Friends

 Friends are also important to me and I recall spending all my time during my childhood hanging out with my friends on my block, building forts, playing games, and generally having a good time. Friends are still a big part of my life and spend a lot of my time with them.

3. Video Games

I spend a lot of my time gaming and of the games I play, I probably spend the most time playing League of Legends. I find gaming to be a nice escape and is a nice medium to meet and hang out with people.

4. Food

Food is definitely something I am a fan of. I've never been a picky eater, but rather I love to try new things and always seem to find new favourite foods I otherwise never have tried.

5. Movies

I love watching movies (commonly while doing other things because I'm a big multi-tasker). Probably one of my favourite movies is Forrest Gump, but I'm not too particularly picky with what I watch and generally am easily entertained.

6. Computers

As a CIS major I obviously have an interest in computers. Also being a gamer I've spent a lot of time on the computer. I've been programming for years now and with a looming career involving computers it would make sense that computers are important to me.

7. Soccer

I've been playing soccer for a very long time and it has always been an important part of my life. I used to play soccer for my high school  and play each week here whether it be intramurals or just playing with friends.

8. Drawing

I love to draw. I used to do it a lot more than i do now, but I'm getting back into it. I generally use a pencil (not a big fan of painting) but I also fairly proficient with photoshop and recently designed the computer clubs logo.

9. Music

I play a lot of music. I play the clarinet, guitar, and piano. I also love listening to music, anything from classical to pop music. 

10. Animals

My parents both work with animals. My dad is a zookeeper and my mom is a veterinarian. We've also had pets throughout my life. We've had numerous dogs (all white boxers) and many cats too. because of this I've grown attached to animals in general.
